"I wish I hadn't cried so much!" said Alice, as she swam about, trying to find her way out. "I shall be punished for it now, I suppose, by being drowned in my own tears! That will be a queer thing, to be sure! However everything is queer today."

I'm working on a literary heroines project starting with dear Alice. Here she is as a silhouette I've drawn. And below are some of the other appearances Alice has made through the years.

Hej Cellar Door Girl :)

no better than an Alice post to answer you :)

yes i am a very nostalgic person, and i am torn inbetween two places. well 3 in reality. my home in France, which is part of a life that i left now.. my home here in Sweden, which i only start to discover and experience.. and my dream home in my head, which takes so much space sometimes..
so i guess it shows on my blog.. (and in my relationships.. my friends back home have a hard time following my feelings.. because sometimes i get angry at them for wanting me back, it's a life i left, and i don't want to go back..)

and about the polaroid colorpack, you should so get it to your husband !! it's even more fun than the Polaroid 600 !! + you can fill it with fuji films, that are quite easy to find :) so go for it !!

by the way, that Alice quote is catching my interest, as i am known for crying, a lot ! and it's a miracle i was never drowned in my own tears !

i loved loved loved that leibovitz "alice in wonderland" spread in vogue a couple years ago. absolutely sumptuous and gorgeous takes on her adventures.

what heroine will you be profiling next?

I loved that Vogue shoot too!
I have just finished Elizabeth Bennet. Then I may do Pippi Longstocking. I have completed the Alice piece now and I'm going to post it asap.
